The Fushigi comes with an instructional DVD which has a lot of great info, but I quickly realized that you can do these tricks with an ordinary ball. It will not look as cool and the element of floating will not be present, but once you master the basics you can contact juggle with anything. Having said that, I’m glad I got my fushigi because it is awesome.
Learning how to contact juggle is not hard but it takes lots of patience and a ton of practice. The people in the demonstration videos are experts so don’t think you are gonna open the box and turn in Houdini. But, learning the basic moves is relatively simple and it is thrilling to complete your first trick.
There is not a human alive who isn’t amazed when they see someone using the Fushigi Ball As Seen On TV so do not learn this if you don’t want to be the center of attention.
